Bell Ringing Competion in memory of Alberto Trabucchi. to be held at the Chapel of San Marco adjacent to Villa Trabucchi, Illasi.
Programme of events:
14.45: Start, 6-bells with obligatory theme for Alberto Trabucchi Award
16.00: Concerts for 5, 6, 8 and 9 bells. Public access to the bell tower.
17.15: Concert by the Gambellara 'Banda Musicale' band.
18.30: Award ceremony and conclusion.

SUNDAY 27th MAY 2007 – WINERY OPEN DAY
The traditional Winery Open Day will be held this year on Sunday, 27th May. From 10am - 6pm, the company will welcome visitors and offer guided tours around the vineyards and the fascinating underground cellar. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste the various wines and the company's exceptional Extra Virgin Olive Oil D.O.P.
From 2pm onwards, the villa's gardens will provide the backdrop for a concert by the brass and percussion band “Venetum Brass”, directed by Valentino Vesentini. The repertory will include renditions of well-known soundtracks as well as Jazz, Swing and Dixieland.
At 5pm the actor ASCANIO CELESTINI (www.ascaniocelestini.it) stars in his latest show, at the end of which he will be awarded with the Trabucchi Prize for Social Commitment, a new prize created by Giuseppe Trabucchi.
During the open day, the company ERBA MADRE, which makes creams, tinctures, essential oils, shampoo and syrups from organically grown medicinal plants, will display its products for demonstation and sale to the public.

Set in the heart of the medieval town of Spoletto, three days of tastings, conventions, meetings and street theatre dedicated to the finest wines.

We will be present at this world-renowned annual event: Stand C3 "Valpolicella Cru", Pavillion 4.
Verona Friday 9th - 11th February
The annual event Amarone in Anteprima (Preview) will be held in Verona again this year, beginning with the official opening conference entitled "Modello Valpolicella: Sostenibilità e Sviluppo di un terroir" (The Example of the Valpolicella: Sustainability and Development of a Terroir) at the Palazzo della Gran Guardia (auditorium) at 3.30pm.
ZURICH Monday 19th February
The company will participate in a workshop organised by Vinum Wein Magazine and the Unione Corsorzio Vini Veneti focusing on wines from the Veneto region, to be held at the Marriott Hotel, Zurich. The event is open only to operators in the wine sector and the press. For information on the event and an invitation, please contact us as soon as possible. Registration must be completed by 9th February.
16-19 November - Luca Maroni's "SENSOFWINE" - ROME
The company will be present at the Luca Maroni event "Sensofwine 2006" in Rome (Spazio Etoile in Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina), reserved exclusively for those wineries included in the Annuario of Best Italian Wines 2006-7. Our Amarone della Valpolicella 2003 was awarded 94/100 points in the Guide and will be available for tasting during the inaugural Gala evening on 16 November. A selection of other Trabucchi wines will be available for tasting during the fair from 17-19 November.
12-13 November - GOLOSARIA
Palazzo Mezzanotte in Milan was the setting for this year's "Golosaria", Club di Papillon's eno-gastronimic festival. Our Amarone della Valpolicella 2002 was awarded a certificate of recognition as being amongst the "Top Hundred 2006" wines in Italy.
SATURDAY 28 September 2006 : THREE GLASSES AWARD CEREMONY
The company is proud to announce that our Valpolicella Superiore DOC "Terre del Cereolo" 2003 has been awarded 'Three Glasses' by the wine guide Italian Wines 2007 - Gambero Rosso/Slow Food. We were present at the prize-giving ceremony held on Saturday 28 October at 10.30am in the Auditorium of the Congress Centre at the Lingotto, Turin.
SUNDAY 10 September - Competative Bell-Ringing Festival: Alberto Trabucchi VII TrophyTHURSDAY 15 June 2006 - Musical Entertainment
The enchanting little church of San Marco adjoining Villa Trabucchi plays host to the 7th edition of this locally renouned bell-ringing competition. The event starts at 2.30pm and concludes with the prize-giving ceremony at 6.30pm. During the afternoon the grounds and gardens of Villa Trabucchi will be open to the general public where Trabucchi Fine Wines wines will also be available for tasting.
15 June 2006: Illasi Festival
During the Illasi in Arte festival, the Cultural Department of Illasi Town Council presents a concert of music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart performed by the Ensemble Sans Souci in the Villa Trabucchi Gardens on 15th June at 9pm. The concert will be followed by a tasting of Trabucchi fine wines.
