CLIMATE
The climate in the area is mild: winters are not particularly cold, summers are hot, and average rainfall reaches levels of approx. 750-850 lt/m²/p.a. This amount of rainfall is essential for the development of the vines and must be considered in relationship to the terrain's ability to retain water, which is poor in soil like ours that is lacking in clay.
Not all the holdings are equipped with an irrigation system and sourcing a water supply is impossible. The only form of irrigation possible in these areas is emergency supply via container truck.
